Our Premium Grade Compost is a mixture of horse manure and very decayed wood mulch. We use horse manure as it has less of a tendency to burn plants than cow manure. We’ve been mixing our Premium Grade Compost here for years and have received rave reviews from gardeners and farmers about it!
Our Economy Grade Compost is made from very decayed leaves – like what you would find in the forest if you dug down a bit – the dark, crumbly rich organic matter. This compost has excellent water retention properties and may hold as much as 300% of its weight in water making it ideal for use in areas that are hard to water and/or to reduce the need to water plants.
