Minimum Load Fee Policy
(Effective 4/6/09)
Due to increasing costs, Black Gold will strictly enforce its minimum load fee policy of $25.00 (+ tax, unless we have your tax-exempt form on file). This rate applies when a customer purchases less than $25 worth of product at a time due to:
- the weight of the product
- the size of the truck bed or utility trailer
- only wanting to purchase a small volume of materia
Black Gold’s equipment is designed to load large dump trucks. While we are happy to load pick-up trucks and utility trailers, it actually takes more time per cubic yard to load these than it does to load commercial dump trucks. Our equipment is expensive to run and to maintain. Plus there is the cost of the equipment operator to consider. The minimum load fee is designed to cover the cost of the equipment, maintenance, equipment operator and to a lesser extent, the cost of the product.
NOTES:
- The minimum load fee includes product and loading up to $25.
- The ONLY exception to the minimum load fee is for our commercial customers who have met all of the requirements for Black Gold’s wholesale pricing.
- Black Gold will not be held responsible for overloads! We reserve the right to stop loading product into your truck or trailer if it appears that the weight of the product is exceeding the weight your truck or trailer is designed to carry. trailer please visit our Main Location in Big Flats.
